I just wanted to ask the members of this discussion board, at what age should children begin to learn Latin or Greek? I have children at various ages at this point.
I started my girls in 2nd grade with Prima Latina....... my boy will wait until 3rd because he's not a solid reader of English yet.
My girls are now doing LCI and still LOVE Latin...... Love! Love! Love! ...... and they do very well with it......... go figure!!! LOL
We have gone fairly slowly, maybe that is why they love it....... I don't know. They aren't intimidated by it at all..... it's all very normal for them.

The rule of thumb around here seems to be begin Latin once reading is well established and Greek 2-3 years after that.
That being said, the assumption is that you're dealing with 6-8 year olds.
In high school, most of my friends started Latin and Greek together in 8th grade. College was the same. It was the pace of the classes that differed.
If you're dealing with grammar-aged children, and you're not familiar with the languages, take them one at a time with primacy given to Latin over Greek.
If you have some middle or high school aged children, get them rolling on Latin and then introduce Greek.
