Salvette!

Does anyone know of a good online Latin to English translator? I've tried a couple I've found, but they don't seem to work very well (iffy translations or can't find simple Latin words). Gratia!

This doesn't seem to be exactly what you're looking for, but it's related and may be of some help:

Thanks, Maria. This will probably be helpful down the road. I'm also looking for something that will translate from English into Latin. For example, if I want to put a little note on my students' papers in Latin and see if they can translate it. ;)

I use "Words" by William Whitaker, and I use it frequently. It is wonderful. It is available online and it is free. You can either use it online at his website, or download it to your computer. You put any legitimate form of the word in, and it gives you the grammatical form of the word, and the meaning of the vocabulary form of the word.

Here is the website: http://ablemedia.com/ctcweb/showcase/whitakerwords.html

I do not know any program in which you can put whole sentences and have it translate whole sentences for you. I don't think it exists yet. But Whitaker's program has been a great translation help to me.
