For the second puzzle, "viros" is one of the choices. Neither my children nor I recall having seen this word before. Is this a typo? Should it be "virgos"?

I don't have Ludere Latine, but I can answer your questions about the words viros and virgos. Viros is the nominative plural of vir, viri (man). I'm assuming you're thinking of virgos as a form of virgo, virginis; there is no such form in the declension of virgo.

Hope this helps,
Maria

I thought it might be "vir", just knowing it from my own Latin study years ago, but we can't find "vir" anywhere in LC 1.

Classical4mom,

If you are doing Ludere 2, remember that that book corresponds to the vocabulary in Latina Christiana II, and 'vir', 'viri' (man) is in the vocabulary of that book.

I know that Ludere 2 corresponds to LC 2, but we are still in the early chapters which are only reviews of LC1. We haven't even gotten to the new material yet.
