Hi~
I am teaching Henle Latin I at our homeschool co-op this year
(prayers please - lol!) and it's a little different
than the way I was taught. Therefore, I'm doing a
little improvising on the program. However, I've run
into a bit of a snag.
On p.23, it gives two words - dedit (he,she,it gave)
and dederunt (they gave). I am not sure if the root
word is [do, dare, dedi, datus], the 1st Conjugation
verb, using the past perfect tense of dedi; OR if it
is from the 3rd conjugation verb [dedo, dedere,
dedidi, deditus]. I'm leaning toward the first one,
but I'm not sure. Browsing through the book, I can't find
where they cover the latter verb again in the book,
other than the glossary.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
