Can someone tell me about how many lessons you do a week?
Also, is this a one year proram or can I use it over again. I am going to be mainly teaching my 3rd grader but I also have one in first and one in K. Will this be something that I can use for my two little ones for the next few years without them getting bored.

Latin has been something that I have really wanted to learn and I am thrilled with teaching my kids. I just hope that they are as thrilled with it as I am:rolleyes:

Thanks in advance for your answers

Last year, I used PL for my 1st and 2nd grader. We did one lesson a week normally, and they did fine with that. We also made flashcards for review. If you have a 3rd grader, you might want to start with LC1. PL is good for little kids to get their feet wet, but you could use it with 3rd grade just fine, too. After that, PL is too slow for sure. I wouldn't try to use it on a kindergartner, but if you want to bring him in to join with the 1st grader, you could do it two years. You can't start LC1 until their reading and writing is well in hand, anyway, so there's no rush. But you could do two years, the first being a focus on oral memorization of songs, prayers, and vocab, the second being a review of all that stuff plus the workbook exercises. I wouldn't bother buying the DVD, but the CD is important, in my opinion. As for them being thrilled, well, mine haven't been terribly excited about it, but I just present it as a non-negotiable, essential subject like math, and they do it.
