I've read the LCC book, many times! :D I just received some wonderful materials from Memoria Press, and I learning so much just looking through them.
However, although the LCC is directed to homeschoolers in general, I didn't see much discussion on how to do this with more than one child. I have a primary and grammar level child - does everyone keep them in separate tracks? Any comments from those that have BTDT?

By the way, I have a 2nd and 4th grader. I realized my information was rather vague.
Thanks again!

There is a lot of discussion about this on the LatinClassicalEd Yahoo Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LatinClassicalEd). You'll also find some examples of real-life schedules at the latincentered.com site. Check the articles and look for the "Reality Edition" series. :)

Mungo,
Thanks! I'm already devouring the information I'm finding at the website you recommended.

I"m following the K recs with a K and 2nd grader. Then I have a 6th grader who is working (quickly) thru the 3-4 recommendations.
The little ones do everything together except phonics and math. The older does most things independently except for Modern, Classical, Literature and Christian Studies (which we do in the afternoon while the boys roam rather free :D )
We've only been at it for a month so far, and I've learned that the subjects generally don't take as long as I scheduled. That's a good thing. Also, if we miss one of the content Studies one day, it isn't too difficult to pick it up the next.
My kids enjoy studying different things each day. Shakes things up a bit! Mornings are always the same, Recitation, Latin, Math, English (9-12 o'clock). Afternoons are hold a different adventure depending on what content we're focusing on. (1-3)
Don't know if that helped any. We're using the Study Guides from Memoria Press as well (with 6th grader), and they took a little tweaking to be used one day a week....they are generally scheduled for a week's worth of work.
