Would your First French be "too baby" for high school. The kids took Rosetta Stone Level I French in sixth and seventh grades. We never really got beyond unit 3.. There was no grammar in this program, and I needed to have them conjugate verbs etc. and make this up as I went along. I was taught grammar, vocab, and reading.. and dialogue. Is your program like this? Could I count it as half a high school credit. If not, what would you recommend for high school French. Rosetta Stone was good for hearing the language spoken, but not enough grammar or vocabulary drill for my liking.

Just read on the website that this book and the second book are the equivalent of one high school credit. Are there plans in the works to do a "Henle" type of French program for high school?
