Hello to you all! I just wanted to introduce myself. I have just discovered the beautiful classical education style and we have just jumped in whole heartedly. I have a wonderful husband of 12 years and we have 3 beautiful girls ages 7, 3, and 1.5. I have 2 jersey cows that I milk and one little jersey heifer. We also have a dexter heifer that we're taking care of for a friend and a steer that will fill our freezer in the fall. We have about 15 chickens and 3 dogs. We live on 10 acres and have built our home from the ground up ourselves. It is still not quite finished but we work on it when we can. My dh runs his own company and works from home 97% of the time. My 7 yo dd is an avid reader. She reads constantly and loves reading books about nature. She will read to her sisters anytime they ask. My 3 yo loves to listen to a story as long as she can get up and be busy every now and then. The baby loves to stand on books, especially while you are reading them! We homeschool year round but we're taking a break this week to get our house in order. I tend to get a little behind with the girls, the cows, and lots of summer fun! We will begin with Prima Latina next week when we get back to school. I have been reading around on the boards here and look forward to gleaning much useful information!
