LC I Latin saying

Hello,

In Latina Christiana I, is the Latin saying "Salvete, amici Latinae correct?

I understood that adjectives must agree with the nouns they describe in case, gender, and number.

Therefore, should it not be Latini, since amici is masculine, vocative, and plural, while Latinae is feminine, vocative, and plural?

If I'm missing something, I'd like to know. We've been saying it with Latinae all year.
