but I'm fairly new at this... both the group thing and the Latin. My son (I'm only hs'ing one as the rest of our children have graduated) and I worked through about 1/3 to 1/2 of Latina Christiana, with a group of home school boys, but he got bogged down (He was 7 at the time) It was just way above his head. He is now in Grade 3 and I'm wanting to do Prima Latina with him. I would like to invite up to 5 other children to join us (with their mothers) but need some advice/cautions/recommendations, etc. We both thoroughly enjoy learning other languages and found Latin to be especially exciting. Jonathan, our son, was thrilled to find the english equivalent words while doing other reading, especially bible reading.

How many would you suggest I allow in the group? (It will be held in my home.)

Should we incorporate Lingua Angelica? (I'm not a singer although I don't mind trying.) :-)

What ages would you recommend I start with? (I was thinking of only Grades 3 & 4 children.)

Any other recommendations?

Sherri in BC, who'd really not sure if she is biting off more than she can chew
