I am working on enthymemes
Made up : All dogs (S) feel pain (P) therefore they should not be used in medical experiments.(M)

implied premise would be pain is involved in medical experiments.

how would I write this syllogism?
All S are P ....

I think you want your conclusion to be: "Dogs should not be used in medical experiments." "Feeling pain" is the middle term, since it's the reason for the conclusion. So the syllogism would look like this:
All things which feel pain (M) should not be used in medical experiments (P).
Dogs (S) are things which feel pain (M).
Therefore, dogs should not be used in medical experiments.
