Vocabulary and Grammar Drill Forms

I'm a bit confused on how to use the drill forms included with Prima Latina. For example: As there are three spaces for each vocabulary word, should the student write the Latin word three times, or alternate with the English definition? Should the student complete each drill sheet three times/week or just write the word three times on each sheet.

Can anyone provide me with a sample of how the two forms are used for the weekly lessons?
