Hello,

This is my first year teaching Latin ever. I am teaching my 7th grade son. We do about a lesson per week but he seems to remember very well so I am tempted to go a little faster. Is there any harm in speeding the process or should we stick to our pace?

Also, I was curious to know if anyone knows of a resource that contains a list of infinitives in Latin?

Thanks,

Maria

If he's mastering, I don't see any harm in speeding things up.

Latin infinitives are formed in a regular way, based on conjugation. Any beginning Latin grammar book will explain the system. But the first person singular is the "dictionary form," so that's what students generally learn first.
