My 4th grade twins are finishing LCII this year (and let me encourage those of you who are struggling to just stick with it - it's like it all makes sense now).
Unless something stunning comes along, I assume we will start Henle in the fall, though I haven't purchased the materials yet.
But meanwhile, over the summer, I would like the boys to retain what they have done. We get busy and travel a lot, and I am not planning daily review, but I would like to do a couple of days a week of review.
My ideas are (1) to buy Henle and start it, in a very relaxed manner, just covering a bit of material. They are pretty excited that they will be starting a "high school text" in the fall. (2) Buy Ludere Latine and work on that - though I am not sure if it's really meant to be started when you have already completed LCII (3) just review with the flash cards and oral work, letting them skip written work. (4) start a new, easy, fun latin program that we would just work on for the summer.
Any suggestions?
