Someone just recently donated the Famous Men Of... series from Greenleaf Press. I had been planning on buying the Famous Men books from Memoria Press, but now I am wondering how the two series differ? Can anyone tell me what's the difference between the Famous Men from Greenleaf Press and the Famous Men from Memoria press? Thanks.

So no one can tell me about any differences? Are they both very similar?

Laudo, I can't advise you as to similarities or differences, but it was my impression that a thread addressing this is in the Forum archives.

Also the differences are, I believe, alluded to in the FAQ listing on the MP product page.

Oh thank you--I found it in the archives. I didn't even know how to get into the archives until now. I think I'll consider getting the Memoria Press editions as well. It'll be fun to have different versions and some extras.

The pictures are so beautiful in the memoria press Men of Greece book that my daughter is using. I have the old greenleaf press ones and there are no pictures. Also, I have the teacher's book, which I love. The book is set up just like the Latin workbooks, greek myths workbook~and we like the consistancy here. Kit

Hi!

I'm glad you like our illustrated FMR. You will need to check out the other Famous Men books, which are also illustrated in color.

We are rather study guide crazy here! We feel it is important for students to be required to pull information from whatever they are reading to build on critical thinking skills and reading comprehension. I'm glad you agree.
