I have 2 8th graders who have begun to use First Start French. We also have Rosetta Stone Level 1 (basically they 'play' around on that one). I suppose I could have them use RS more formally as a supplement, but for some reason, I find RS is difficult to use. I'm thinking of supplementing instead with Learnables on Computer Level 1 (it's apparently a new addition to their program) and then using their book with cd set and progressing to Level 2, etc.
My question is: Good idea? or not? My 2 older ones will be 9th graders in Sept and I'm worrying about what program to use. Although I like Memoria Press and hope they come out with Level 2 soon, I really think my children need another program to supplement (or have Memoria Press' program supplement another French program).
Any suggestions about Learnables? Or another program?:confused:
