Want to switch from Latin Primer

My 6th grader is almost finished with LPII. My 4th grader just finished LPI. I want to switch to Memeoria Press latin but I'm not sure where to jump in. Any recommendations? Thanks.

When you switch programs, you'll have a very hard time jumping in the middle because each program teaches different vocabulary that's used in the later chapters. The grammar is probably taught in a different order as well. However, some of the grammar and vocabulary will be review. I suggest starting with the beginning of LC I, but just review orally a number of chapters until you get to some things your kids don't know. You might only give the tests (which occur after every 5th chapter) until you find the level where they are challenged and then begin actually working through each chapter. The first 5 chapters of LCII review the whole first book, so your 6th grader may be able to start there.
