I am interested in starting latin for my soon to be 4th and 7th grade level sons. I am confused as to which books to use and wonder if I can use the same level books for both. Both are new to Latin and will be learning at the same time and I have no experience with Latin at all. Any suggestions gratefully accepted!

Here are two articles that might help you:
Latin Scope & Sequence (http://www.memoriapress.com/articles/outline.html)
Which Latin Program Should I Start With? (http://www.memoriapress.com/articles/start_latin.html)
Unless your 4th grader is working several years above grade level, I think it would be hard to keep both students at the same level for very long. I would probably begin the 4th grader in Latina Christiana 1 and the 7th grader in Henle, although you could also take the older student through LC 1 and 2, just more quickly. They are great programs and will make the transition to Henle very smooth. HTH!
