Error in LCI Teacher Manual & 2nd person plural in English

I'm sure you've seen this already, but there aren't any corrections listed for LCI. And maybe I'm wrong?

LCI Teacher Manual Lesson 5 pg 37 Exerciese B Grammar:
adoro is conjugated and translated, but the translation shown is "I love" etc. Shouldn't that be "I adore" etc.?

PS We're from the South and we translate you (pl) as "you all" - this seems a lot easier than the cumbersome "you plural". After all, the South has provided the 2nd person plural form that English lacks so we might as well use it!

I think what showed up in Latina Christina is done like this to stay within a limited english/latin vocabulary much like Henle does with his 500 word vocabulary.

So adoro is perfectly fine in the general sense but amo has a bit of a 'wink, chuckle, nudge' factor (see below).

Then below is from my Lewis and Short Latin dictionary.

1. adoro - pray earnestly or supplicate a diety. More emphatic than venerari and denoting the highest degree of reverence. This is also how the emperors were addressed as they were considered diety.

2. amo - to like or love in the 'low' sense. ". . .In the Vulug. amo and amor are comparitvely little used, prob from their bad associations, amo being used 51 times and amor 20. Instead of these words, diligo, dilecto and caritas were used. Diligo (incl. dilectus) occurs 422 times, and dilecto and caritas 144 times in all; dilecto 43 and caritas 101 times)."

3. diligo - to value or esteem highly, to love.
