I am researching which Latin program to use for my 13 year old son. He is presently in a Christian school which begins teaching Latin the second sememester of 7th grade. He has done very well and has a 100 average. He does not have a textbook and I'm really not sure if the teacher is using a Latin curcullum.

Next year I will be homeschooling him and although he wants to try another language I want him to continue Latin. The only Latin education I have received is a college course "Greek and Latin Scientific Terminology". Any suggestions on where I should begin? I will have a 6th grade daughter with whom I would like to start Latin.
Thanks,
CArol

You are right between the starting point for Latina Christiana I and Henle I with your son. Since you have a 6th grade daughter, I would go ahead and use Latina Christiana I.

Your son may move through it in only one semester, but Latina Christiana will be easier on you as you are learning Latin with your kids.
