Hi! I'm a homeschooling mom. I'm currently studying Latin on my own. I've had convincing arguemnts for both Wheelock's Latin and Henle. Can someone please explain the difference in the texts to a novice? I'm almost through Latina II, and have both books in my home. Henle seems to be a little less intimidating, but the Veritas Academey people "swear" by Wheelock's. Anyone? Thanks.

Lcoll,
Have you read Cheryl Lowe's article at http://www.memoriapress.com/articles/henle.html? It may be helpful to you.

Maria: Thanks. I've got both texts here. I've tried to go through both, and Henle is less cumbersome, but I wanted to be sure I wasn't "missing something." I'm convinced to stick with Henle now! Leah
