Where in the student book does it tell us that feminine of albus is albina.
I can't locate it and can't give my son an answer for why the TM says white snow and white sheep Drill B, 9 & 10 are translated as nix albina and oves albinae.
Could someone help me with this?

The feminine form of the adjective albus,a,um is alba and not albina. My edition of LCII has alba and albaeas the answer for Lesson XXV Drill B 9 and 10, so perhaps the one you have is an old version with an answer which has been corrected in the newer version. At any rate, you can reassure your son that the correct feminine form is alba.

Thank you so much for your reply.
I hate it when I have come up against something like this and can't explain it to him.
I noticed a couple of other things which we had problems with were already posted.
Your response is very helpful.
Thanks again.
