I've been asked to teach a logic course at a homeschool co-op. We have 30 one-hour classes per year with homework assigned during the week. Would it be reasonable to do both books of logic in one year? Would it still be worthwhile if we only got through part (or most) of book II? Or could we do book I and then Material Logic? The latter looks more interesting and useful than book II which I fear might be too technical and hard for a beginning logic course. Also, what would be the appropriate grade levels for such a course? Thanks.
