There is indeed a Latin co-op in the Phoenix area. I've let one of the moms know that you're looking, but she's having some trouble registering at the forum here. Hopefully she'll be able to post in the next day or two. :)

Hi Lori
A small Classical co-op group began meeting about a year and a half ago in the west valley, but since then we have met quite a few folks in the east valley via an online discussion group, a homeschool convention and attending the AzJCL convention. We are hoping to plan some events together in the fall. We would love to have you join our local Yahoo! group if you like and introduce you to the east valley families. If you will email me off-line, I'll give you the information you would need to do that, okay?

My email address for the event is:
LatinClassicalEd@cox.net
I can send you more details. but here is the first announcement we have made:
Considering teaching Latin at home?
Are you thinking of adding Latin to your homeschool curriculum but not sure where to start? Are you using a classical model for your homeschool but want to know how best to adapt it for your family setting? Would you like to learn more about teaching composition and rhetoric using the principles of the ancients?
Well, consider joining with homeschool Latin students from all across the valley for a Latin Classical Education event October 20th, 2007 9am to 5pm at Glendale Main Library. Activities are being planned for children while adults can choose from several different speakers and activities during the day. The event is sponsored by West Side Home Educators and Latin Club Phoenix. Save 50% on registration if you register before June 5th, 2007.
For more detailed information, list of speakers and topics, email LatinClassicalEd@cox.net
