My daughter worked thru the LC 1 this year in 8th but we are doing LC 2 in 9th grade. Can I give her a high school credit for this?

Dawn,
You could certainly justify a high school credit for LC2.

I'm homeschooling my 9th grader for the first time this year. We are doing LC1. Can I give him 1 credit for high school?
Also, I'm trying to decide whether to start LC2 in April for 6 weeks and finish it in the fall or if I should just wait until August. Any recommendations?
My son took Spanish last year at a private Christian school and it was disastrous. He is dyslexic, but LC is written in a way that he has been very successful and it has really helped his self-esteem after a bad year with Spanish. Thanks!

CKliewer,
I'm homeschooling my 9th grader for the first time this year. We are doing LC1. Can I give him 1 credit for high school? LC 1 is really only worth 0.5 high school credit. For more information read the "Frequently Asked Questions" section of this page (http://www.memoriapress.com/descriptions/Latina1.html).
Also, I'm trying to decide whether to start LC2 in April for 6 weeks and finish it in the fall or if I should just wait until August. Any recommendations? I would wait until August. If you started in April, you'd have to review too much when you get back to it in August.
Hope this helps,
Maria
